Our first visit to St Ives and we will most defiantly be back. Couldn’t of ask for more.

A wonderful week of fantastic weather and gorgeous food.

Would highly recommend Porthwiggen beach café and you must BBQ on the beach there too!

‘The Salt Lodge’ really fitted the bill for this family get together. Lots of space to eat together/ Comfortable beds / well equipped kitchen / very central to nip out to the shops / brilliant for the beaches.

Weather very mixed fog, rain, wind, hot days.

Highlights:-

 Flying kites above Porthgwidoth beach, pitch and put competition, walk to Zennor along the coast and open air bus on way back, fantastic meal at Porthminster café, Surfing, Swimming in big sea, Pimms on the beach, best ever ‘Bloody Mary’s at Porthminster café.

All in all a memorable week!

We had a wonderful week in the gorgeous house. The location is great and the weather has been fantastic.

We’ve eaten of scrummy food. The Pothminster café was amazing for an evening meal and the Porthwiggen beach café great t00 (best book both of these)

It is November!! We have had rain, wind, sunshine, and showers – all with above average temperatures.

A WONDERFUL HOUSE AND BRILLIANT LOCATION. St Ives is beautiful with loads of lovely places to visit. I recommend “cot Valley” in “Cape Cornwall”, Lizard Point and the Geevor Tin Mine. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Fab place for holiday – lovely décor.

 Just spent a fantastic week in the Salt Lodge on a special family get-together. The house was perfectly situated for the shops and beaches, but also in an extremely quiet spot. No through traffic- the loudest things were the sea gulls!. We found the house large enough for 8 adults, very well equipped and cosy for evening games and family meals. A real find on a busy Whitsun week. I would recommend this cottage to anyone.
